SEO Marketing with Manual Directory Submission

Google has become synonymous with the word, “Search.” Whether you are casually surfing the internet, or browsing the web for useful information, the more specific your search is, the more relevant would your results be. So optimizing your web pages, articles, or posts requires you to understand your target audience thoroughly, do a market research of the most searched keywords, research the top websites for the keywords you are targeting, and this is just the beginning. Read more on SEO on Wikipedia, if you are not familiar with what it is.

Based on our online experience for a few years now, I would say it is imperative for anyone and everyone to be familiar with SEO. Say you have a small business, say you start a blog, start you want to place an ad, say you want to sell something online, say you want to discuss in a forum… being SEO savvy will help you to use the online resources that are available in a more useful way, and if you have something to contribute, it is not a choice, but mandatory to learn and use it.

SEO Marketing is not as easy though. It takes a lot of time, effort and patience to establish a name in a certain niche, thanks to millions of people competing on the web. So if you want to save time and capitalize quick, we would suggest using SEO services from reputed SEO Companies. Manual directory submission is a cheap and effective way of advertising, and many SEO consultants can do it for you for a small fee. The SEO services that you may also find useful could be domain name submission to multiple search engines, article submission, content writing, website or blog analysis.

Copy: Scannable, try using bullets, highlight your keywords for specific information your readers might be looking for.

White space & text design: White space is easy on the eyes. Fonts should be large enough for even the older ones to read. Clutter free and yet space optimization is a must.

Pictures: Pictures create a mood and interest, choose an appropriate picture for your post. Keep them light, so that they do not take too long to load.

Graphics: Plan your graphics well, a haphazardly arranged graphics reflects an amateur site, so do it right and within the requirements.

Be easy to navigate: Keep few links in your main directory, arouse interest interest instead of choice fatigue. Maintain hierarchy.

Be credible: With constant skeptics around you, ensure your site looks professional, your stats reliable, and content original.Testimonials, warranty, guarantee, secure credit card processing, privacy policies, disclaimers are the way to go.

Never Be Finished: Google likes fresh content, so do readers. Keep adding new information, tweak your site design keeping SEO in mind.

Visibility of ad: Do not dump your ads right at the bottom of your website, unless you have a website where scrolling is not required.

Contextual ads: Filter all the useless advertisements from Competitive Ad Filter link below the AdSense Setup tab using the entire URI/ URL of the website starting with www.nameoftheuselesswebsite.com.

Optimize: Use all the three Google ad units if you have a lot of traffic, else cut it off, you don’t want your ads jumping on your audience.

Link/menu ads: Build interest with link units in your navigation or menu area.

Blend your ads with your design: Match the headings and body of your ads with the headings and body of your posts, both in terms of colors and fonts, to some extent.

Multiple websites trial: Check ads in multiple locations to see what works well for your site. You could try using multiple Blogger accounts for experiment/ test.

Google compliance: BEWARE. Placing images in context with ads side by side could be the end of your Google Adsense account. Check the example below.
