Google has become synonymous with the word, “Search.” Whether you are casually surfing the internet, or browsing the web for useful information, the more specific your search is, the more relevant would your results be. So optimizing your web pages, articles, or posts requires you to understand your target audience thoroughly, do a market research of the most searched keywords, research the top websites for the keywords you are targeting, and this is just the beginning. Read more on SEO on Wikipedia, if you are not familiar with what it is.
Based on our online experience for a few years now, I would say it is imperative for anyone and everyone to be familiar with SEO. Say you have a small business, say you start a blog, start you want to place an ad, say you want to sell something online, say you want to discuss in a forum… being SEO savvy will help you to use the online resources that are available in a more useful way, and if you have something to contribute, it is not a choice, but mandatory to learn and use it.
SEO Marketing is not as easy though. It takes a lot of time, effort and patience to establish a name in a certain niche, thanks to millions of people competing on the web. So if you want to save time and capitalize quick, we would suggest using SEO services from reputed SEO Companies. Manual directory submission is a cheap and effective way of advertising, and many SEO consultants can do it for you for a small fee. The SEO services that you may also find useful could be domain name submission to multiple search engines, article submission, content writing, website or blog analysis.

I would add that SEO is something that takes and improves over time. Too many ‘hit and run’ experts out there will optimize your site for $ and then leave you with poor results or results that trickle downward over time. It’s definitely a strategy that you should engage in and budget for over time.
I agree that SEO is important, and one tool I find uesful when doing the submmissions myself is roboform, as it’s very easy to just fill in the info, click a button, and then all the fields are automatically filled out.
It’s stil a drag, but at least is bearable compared with filling them all out by hand.
I agree. SEO is important for anyone who wants to grow their website/business. It takes time, but is worth the results.
I am a big believer in SEO and directory submission for marketing. The main problem for me with manual directory submission firms, is many of them use the same title and description and submit to hundreds of directories. That will usually flag Google that the links are being obtained not by natural means. The title and descriptions need to vary, so they seem more natural.
I agree. SEO is important for anyone who wants to grow their website/business.
Very nice and informative.
SEO is an essential part of making business.
Thanks
I agree, directory submission still have their place. Many often get caught up in visible page rank and forget that search engines use a wide array of metrics to assume what is considered a hub or authority site.
If it is a hub site linking to you, then you are receiving the benefit of all of the sites momentum that are linking to it. So, before you discount any strategy, you have to realize its place on the totem pole and how to use it as part of a comprehensive marketing tactic.
SEO is very important into a business if you wanted it to be visible on the organic sites like google, yahoo and msn. they say that theres a program get google ads free but i think its never free. and it doesn’t make one site rank at all.
nice blog!! I really liked this blog.your post are good trip for me Thanks for sharing (:
I agree too.
great article! I like it.
I agree that directory submissions are part of a good off-site SEO program, however I don’t care to do it quite manually. I’ve been using “Directory Submitter Standard” from Bryxen software to at least automate part of the process… I especially like it’s ability to randomly vary the title, keywords and description for each submission. Create several of each and then the program runs in semi-automatic mode filling in forms. I still have to deal with part of each one, particularly those that require captcha to be solved.
one can find automated tools to manage and track directory submission. However the best use of those tools is still with a manual submission. It takes time and effort. Too many “SEO Experts” do not take the time to write quality Title and Description Tags for their clients Directory Submissions. Too many overlook the power of suggestion in the well written Title/Description tag in their effective ability to “pull” customers into the site by gaining actual click throughs. Focusing on Directory sumbission solely for the purpose of SEO is short sited. Each and every link you have online should be compelling enough to generate traffic on it’s own. There is no point in mass sumbission as it’s not the quantity of links that matter, it’s the quality of traffic they generate.
Search Engine submission to the big three, on its own, doesn’t accomplish much. If anything, you might get spidered a little faster if you have a new site (say in 2-3 days instead of 2-3 weeks).
More important, is correctly configuring the settings in Google Webmaster tools to optimize for images, sitemaps, robots.txt, etc. Your SEO provider should use Google Analytics in concert with Google Webmaster tools to get the full picture of your site’s performance as time goes on. For example, Webmaster tools can show you which search results came up that people didn’t click on… very good piece of information to have!
I also love SEO……but last night I saw few discussions on webmaster forums that the new Google techniques will rip off SEO….already they started choice option in search engine……..if you wish you can block a site from your browser for a certain keyword……..or if you wish you can put the 10th link at the 1st in your browser.
I know Google is also earning via SEO…..not directly but AdSense, AdWords or affiliate programs all are because of SEO……but itz true after reading that forum posts.
Anyways…….thanks mate for your content…..its informative.
I’m just getting into SEO and realising the best practices for optimisation.
I’ve read that links are the most important thing and I’ll be honest, I’ve used these online ‘100 directory entries for $xx.xx dollars’ and they didn’t really work – but what recommended directory submissions do the SEO experts use?
Is there any books / magazines that people recommend for finding out more on SEO or does the Google eBook about SEO cover all the basics?
Articles also play some part in internet marketing. As articles are read by visitors there are more chances for visitors coming to the sites. Articles should be relevant to the theme of the site
