HSO issued a bug fix earlier today: The zip file and demo links were changed at 950PM EST on October 26th 2007 after some minor tweaks. If you downloaded prior to the noted time, try this fix - Rename the theme from zen 8 to zen in style.css, then change the folder name of the theme from zen 8 to zen, essentially, remove the space followed by 8. If that is not possible, please download again.

Is this template compatible with WP 2.3? The theme is not rendering correctly for me.

It is 2.3 compatible.
I like this theme - however, I’m having difficulties installing it. The instructions say there should be a plugins folder to upload and there is not one with the zip file. The theme just does not render properly. The only graphics that show up are the 468×60 Google banner and the big Google banner. Please help. Something is missing.

There is a bug fix, kindly download the theme again or use the fix instructions added to the release post above. Let me know if it worked for you, I can walk through the change for you if needed.
