10 Tips to Increase Traffic with Alexa Web Marketing

TrafficAlexa.com if the #1 Traffic Ranker in the blogosphere.

1. First and foremost, add the Alexa Site Stats Button to your site, if your site ranking is high, flaunt it in a visible spot. Even if your site ranking is not high, the toolbar will act as a constant motivator for you to be a active blogger.

2. Add Alexa Toolbar to your own site and let your readers know that it also blocks pop-ups!

3. Find out your competitor’s ranking. If yours is higher, display a comparative traffic graph proudly on your site with Alexa’s free traffic graph banner.

4. Alexa is owned by Amazon. The reviews done on Alexa can be a part of your Amazon profile. If you don’t have an Amazon profile, get it now!

5. If you have an associate ID, Amazon will include your ID in your link. Also, any purchases made at Amazon using the new Alexa toolbar will earn you commissions.

6. Thank your customers and well-wishers for writing good Alexa/Amazon reviews for you. You can also thank your customers by providing them a discount or a free gift. This might encourage them to be a repeat publisher for you!

7. Once you establish a friendly base with your new customers, you could request permission to re-publish the review on your own site as a testimonial. Even better if the individual/site who reviews your site is more reputed than yours, or at least as good as your own.

8. If your site traffic increased by adding affiliate products to your site, highlight it with the free dynamic Alexa traffic graph and encourage others to be your sub-affiliates. High traffic could translate into high sales.

9. Keep a track of the upcoming and current trends by visiting the global top 500 sites on Alexa’s homepage. If you want to capitalise on the difference in economies in different countries, I would recommend a thorough study of country-specific top sites.

10. Last but not the least, do visit Alexa at least once or twice a day!

Quick Easy Steps to get a Drivers License

Obtaining a driver’s license can be the biggest and most exciting thing for some kids, while it might cause a lot of worry and anxiety to some. Check these easy online guide for an easy driver’s license.

Here’s a snapshot of the benefits of teens taking Driver’s Education Online courses:

This course aims at teaching safe, legal, and responsible driving:

Teaches Vehicle Laws
Having this intensive guided course which focuses on vehicle laws will enable teens to learn the laws perhaps even more quickly than if they were studying the relative laws on their own and help them to pass the written test as well as the actual driving test.

Teaches Drug and Alcohol Awareness
Many teenagers are aware of the fact that drugs are illegal and alcohol can have potentially damaging effects; however, by teaching this in a structured course along with a variety of statistics and videos, it really sends the message out to the teenagers the damage that drinking and driving or doing drugs and driving can cause an individual.

Vehicle Maintenance
Prior to learning how to drive the vehicle, one should also know how the vehicle works and how it can be maintained.

Driving Course
Once teenagers have gained the requisite knowledge regarding laws, awareness factors and maintenance, it is then time to get behind the wheel and teach them actual driving techniques. This course teaches teens how to drive in the company of a certified driving instructor. Some driver’s education courses held by a school district, for example, will provide the actual training portion while in other areas teens will need to engage in this portion of driver’s education course on their own with a driving school. So, this is crucial.

Where to Take Driver’s Education Courses
Two questions to be asked to the local Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) are whether driver’s education is required by the state and what forms of driver’s education courses are acceptable to satisfy that requirement, in order to choose a driver’s education course to sign up for. Teens can take a driver’s education course through their high school. Many school districts offer driver’s education courses as part of the curriculum and this may be an option for the student. Or they can sign up for a driver’s education course with a professional driver’s education center where both classroom and actual driving courses will be taught. Lastly, there is a new and inventive way of engaging in a driver’s education course and that is online.

Online driver education courses are ones which have recently been gaining quite a bit of recognition. Not only are they great ways to learn course concepts but they are extremely convenient as well. One will most likely have to use a professional driving school for the road portion of the course, but with regard to classroom courses, the online version is a distinct possibility. It is highly advisable, however, that one check with their state to ensure that this type of course fulfillment is acceptable in order to meet the driver’s education requirement.

Texas Driver Education Made Easy

Here’s an interesting, informative and educational synopsis of an online Texas driver education course for a friend.

Texas Driver Education:

Texas State offers a parent taught Texas driver education course, not the cumbersome thick printout, but a Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) approved online Texas driver education course, certified as course #107. This course can be taken online, or via a 3 CD-ROM set, in the comfort of your home in your own time. In many rural areas of Texas traditional driver education courses are simply not available. However, the state requires teens to complete a state approved course to receive their drivers license before the age of 18. This Texas driver’s ed course is state approved and once completed, you will receive a Certificate of Completion certifying completion of a state approved course.

Here’s how the Online Texas Driver Education Course works:

At age 15, you can apply for your Texas learners permit, through the state of Texas (a sample for that is mailed in) indicating you will be taking a parent taught course. Next, you enroll in an online state approved course. After completing the first six hours of the course, being 15 years old, passing a vision test and other state requirements (ie: enrollment in school), you can take the written exam for your learners permit. The course helps prepare you for the written test.

Once you pass the written test and receive your Texas learners permit, you’ll continue the course online. The parent/guardian will assist the teen with the driving requirements and certify their time spent behind the wheel. One of the main benefits of this course is convenience of time and assurance of complete guidance. Once the student completes the course, the state certified Certificate of Completion that your local DPS office will need would be mailed to you.

After holding your learners permit for at least six months, completing the course, being at least 16 years old and meeting state requirements, you can apply for your Texas drivers license. It’s a simple process with a checklist of what to take to your local DPS office to ensure a hassle-free goal of receiving your Texas drivers license.
For more information on this state approved course, visit the Texas Driver Education website.

Who wants a Free Business Card?

Marketing guys are busy selling something or the others always. We all detest sales calls, there is no time to waste. I guess we are pretty happy with our lives and don’t need unwanted freebies coming our way. The other day, I saw some guys pulling out some business cards out of their wallets at lightning speed and whip out some for me to throw away. What kind of audacity do these people have to believe that we actually are waiting to be in possession of their color business cards? Are they out of their minds? A white one is bad enough, but what I couldn’t possibly want to keep is a bright pink business card in my very own wallet, could I? Even if it did have some value to me, I would be too embarrassed to keep it.

At a poker table the other day, I wanted to play some cards and four out of the nine people ended up giving me their cards. Those cards weren’t remotely related to what I did for a living and I never wanted to see them again. All I needed from them was their money, but they gave them out anyways, like a piece of gum.
