i myself used couple of their feature stripe and it’s great
with the new feature install..even better..recon for anyone don’t
want to bother create their own stripe.:)
the tool is wonderful – the only bad thing is that it saves as a .png – sometimes not workable with some web editors. any way to get it to save as a .gif?

I guess they expect you to use a photo editor to convert the image type. There is one other service similar (may be even better) at http://lab.rails2u.com/bgmaker/ but that too has images only in png type.
In both the cases, you can right click the image and save as a bitmap, then convert to gif using any editor, not sure if the quality will stay intact.
