Has a tried and tested formula for a page that confuses the shit out of people yet is the number 1 site in the world (according to Alexa), so why not use the same thing. Is it also possible that AOL is using the same design firm to build their site?

Case in point, McDonalds and Wal-mart spend millions of dollars with surveys and lobbying to site their stores, Burger King and K-Mart simply follow them to the same neighborhoods and spend zilch on survey! Copy or smart strategy?</description>
